BEDROOM DESIGN

Linear clean lines create dynamism in each space. On the Ground Floor, the built-ins are carefully designed and proportioned to ensure the overall sizes achieve a balance when positioning the different items such as dining table, TV positioning and dividers. The mixtures of materials assist in breaking the large panels into comfortable sizes and give depth from the different colour tones.

DESIGN WONT SAVE THE WORLD,
BUT IT DAMN SURE MAKES IT LOOK GOOD

MARCUS LOU

Integrating a hobby, a dream, a memory, even your work into the design; can provide us with a powerful brief to work on. As part of this client's requirements, we created illusions of movements and dynamism in the design to simulating the motions of riding a bicycle whilst keeping the house homely and cozy for the young family.

1. THE LIGHT HOUSE

Every corner and every small part is imbued with great passion, as if each act rising to a dramatic crescendo in this newest addition to our line of projects. Where spaces most would imagine being meaningless and do not offer a sense of space or warmth now have been refined and redefined to make each passing void - your space.

2. HOUSE OF SMALL WONDERS

The entrance foyer now has a quirky house number infused within, further welcomed by a resort-style individual stepping slabs and a sun screen - leading to a turn that opens up into a generous gathering space around the Dining cum Dry Kitchen island area.

3. THE EMPIRICAL HOUSE

The Living Area is seemingly tucked away at a cosy part of the house with its grand full scale TV cabinet whilst the Powder Room takes on an unconventional approach to leave a lasting impression for guests.

THE SUNSET OASIS

The design elements and details then flow seamlessly upstairs to the Master Bedroom whereby the arch frames the view immediately upon entry. This room then connects to a study space looking out to the lake whilst a hidden door leads to the private wardrobe room.

THE ASCENT

The brief was to transform the new home into a space of conversation and the client is opened to exploration of non-conventional material.
